To cancel your car rental reservation, navigate to the "My Account" section on the website from your initials in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, then click "Purchases." Find the reservation you want to cancel, and then click "View Confirmation," then "Cancel Reservation." Then, follow the steps in order to cancel.
On the cancel screen, the system will tell you if you have already passed the cancel penalty date, and if you should expect a refund. This is based on the Cancellation Policy that you agreed to at time of booking (and listed on your confirmation), as well as the date and time you are cancelling your reservation.
After you have canceled your booking successfully, you should receive an email noting the details of your canceled booking, including any refunds that have been processed, as well as changes to any points you earned or redeemed during that transaction.
Many (but not all) car rentals are able to be canceled without penalty up to 48 hours prior to pickup (local time). Please refer to the Cancellation Policy and Rental Conditions listed on your confirmation.
