Managing your privacy settings

Control who sees your activity and how you appear to others on Andrew.

Accessing privacy settings

1. Go to Profile → Settings
2. Tap Privacy

Account privacy

Public account

• Anyone can follow you
• Your profile is visible to all users
• Shared rounds appear to followers

Private account

• Follow requests require your approval
• Only followers see your activity
• Your profile has limited visibility to non-followers

To switch: Toggle Private Account on or off.

Activity visibility

Round sharing

Control default sharing when you complete rounds:

• Always share: Rounds auto-post to your feed
• Ask each time: Prompt after each round
• Never share: Rounds stay private unless you manually share

Score visibility

When sharing rounds, choose what others see:

• Full scorecard (hole-by-hole)
• Total score only
• Just that you played (no score)

Handicap visibility

Show or hide your handicap index from your profile.

Discoverability

Search visibility

Control whether you appear in search results.

Suggested friends

Allow Andrew to suggest you to other users based on mutual connections or location.

Contact sync

Allow friends to find you via phone contacts they've synced.

Messaging privacy

Who can message you

• Everyone: Any Andrew user
• Followers: Only people you've allowed to follow you
• People I follow: Only people you follow

Message requests

Messages from people you don't follow go to a request folder for you to approve.

Wager privacy

Wager visibility

Control whether wager results appear on shared rounds:

• Show wager outcomes
• Hide wager details

Blocking users

Blocked users cannot:

• See your profile
• Follow you
• Message you
• See your posts
• Invite you to rounds or wagers

To block someone:

1. Go to their profile
2. Tap the three dots
3. Select Block

Manage blocked users in Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users.
