Creating and managing groups

Groups make it easy to organize your regular playing partners, leagues, or clubs.

What are groups?

Groups are communities within Andrew for:

• Your regular foursome
• Work golf league
• Club members
• Neighborhood golfers
• Any collection of golfers with shared interests

Creating a group

1. Go to Social or Groups
2. Tap Create Group
3. Enter group details:
   • Group name
   • Description
   • Group photo (optional)
4. Set privacy (public or private)
5. Invite members
6. Create

Group privacy settings

Public groups

• Anyone can find and join
• Good for open communities
• Content visible to all members

Private groups

• Membership requires approval or invitation
• Group doesn't appear in search
• Content only visible to members

Managing members

Inviting members

1. Open your group
2. Tap Invite Members
3. Search for friends to invite
4. Send invitations

Approving requests (private groups)

1. View pending requests
2. Tap Accept or Decline

Removing members

1. Go to member list
2. Tap on the member
3. Select Remove from Group

Group roles

• Owner: Full control, can delete group
• Admin: Can manage members and settings
• Member: Can participate and post

Promote trusted members to admin:

1. Tap on the member
2. Select Make Admin

Group features

• Group chat: Message all members
• Shared rounds: See rounds members post to the group
• Events: Create group-only events
• Leaderboards: Track stats within the group

Editing group settings

1. Open the group
2. Tap Settings or the gear icon
3. Update name, description, photo, or privacy
4. Save changes

Deleting a group

Only the owner can delete a group:

1. Go to group settings
2. Scroll to bottom
3. Tap Delete Group
4. Confirm (this cannot be undone)
