How to message friends

Stay connected with your golf buddies through Andrew's messaging feature.

Accessing messages

1. Tap the Messages icon in the bottom navigation (or top right)
2. View your conversations
3. Tap any conversation to open it

Starting a new conversation

1. Go to Messages
2. Tap the New Message or + icon
3. Search for a friend by name or username
4. Select them to start a chat
5. Type your message and send

What you can send

• Text messages: Regular chat messages
• Photos: Share course pics or scorecard screenshots
• Round invites: Quickly invite them to play
• Wager requests: Propose a bet for an upcoming round
• Location: Share which course you're at

Message notifications

Get notified when you receive messages:

• Push notifications (if enabled)
• Badge on the Messages icon
• In-app alerts

Manage notification preferences in Profile → Settings → Notifications.

Muting conversations

Need a break from a chatty group?

1. Open the conversation
2. Tap the info icon or conversation settings
3. Select Mute
4. Choose duration (1 hour, 8 hours, 24 hours, or indefinitely)

You'll still receive messages, but won't get notifications.

Deleting conversations

1. Swipe left on a conversation (iOS) or long-press (Android)
2. Tap Delete
3. Confirm

This removes the conversation from your view but doesn't delete it for other participants.

Message privacy

• Messages are private between participants
• Andrew doesn't read or share your messages
• You can control who can message you in privacy settings
