Updating your profile

Keep your profile current so friends can find you and your golf info is accurate.

Accessing your profile

1. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation
2. Tap Edit Profile or the edit icon

What you can update

Profile photo

1. Tap your current photo (or the placeholder)
2. Choose Take Photo or Choose from Library
3. Crop and adjust
4. Save

Display name

The name others see. Can be your real name or a nickname.

Username

Your unique @handle. Used for mentions and searching. You can change it, but pick something memorable.

Bio

A short description about yourself. Share your home course, playing style, or golf goals.

Location

Your general area. Helps with finding local golfers and events.

Golf-specific details

Home course

Set your primary course. Shows on your profile and helps with suggestions.

Handicap display

Choose whether to show your handicap index on your profile.

Playing preferences

• Preferred tees
• Walking vs. riding
• Typical playing times

Contact information

Email

Update your email for account communications. You may need to verify the new address.

Phone number

Used for account security and optional notifications.

Linked accounts

Connect or disconnect:

• GHIN account
• Apple/Google sign-in
• Other integrations

Saving changes

After making updates:

1. Review your changes
2. Tap Save or Done
3. Changes apply immediately

Profile visibility

Control who sees your profile in Settings → Privacy. You can limit visibility to followers only or keep it public.
