Creating an event

Hosting a tournament or golf event? Here's how to set it up in Andrew.

What are events?

Events let you organize:

• Club tournaments
• Charity outings
• Member-guest events
• League play days
• Any organized golf competition

Creating an event

1. Go to Play or Events
2. Tap Create Event
3. Enter event details:
   • Event name
   • Date and time
   • Course
   • Format (stroke play, scramble, etc.)
   • Description
4. Set participant limits (if any)
5. Configure registration options
6. Publish the event

Event formats

Individual stroke play

Everyone plays their own ball. Lowest score wins.

Team scramble

Teams pick the best shot each time. Great for mixed skill levels.

Best ball

Teams use the best individual score on each hole.

Match play bracket

Head-to-head elimination tournament.

Stableford

Points-based scoring system.

Managing registration

Open registration

Anyone can sign up until spots fill.

Invite only

Only invited players can register.

Approval required

You approve each registration request.

Setting up flights or divisions

For larger events, create divisions:

• By handicap range
• By age group
• By team

Event communication

• Send announcements to all registrants
• Event chat for questions and updates
• Automatic reminders before the event

During the event

• Live leaderboard updates
• Scores sync automatically from players' apps
• Track all groups' progress

After the event

• Final results and standings
• Winner announcements
• Event recap and photos
• Share results with participants
