Control who follows you and sees your golf activity.
Viewing your followers
- Go to your Profile
- Tap Followers
- See everyone who follows you
Follower notifications
When someone new follows you:
- You receive a notification
- You can view their profile
- Choose to follow them back (or not)
Removing a follower
If you don't want someone following you:
- Go to your Followers list
- Find the person
- Tap the three dots or their name
- Select Remove Follower
They won't be notified but will no longer see your activity.
Private vs. public account
Public account
- Anyone can follow you
- Your shared rounds are visible to followers
- You appear in search results
Private account
- Follow requests require your approval
- Only approved followers see your activity
- More control over your audience
Change this in Profile → Settings → Privacy.
Approving follow requests (private accounts)
- You'll receive a notification for each request
- Go to Profile → Follow Requests
- Tap Accept or Decline for each
Blocking vs. removing
Removing a follower: They can re-follow you (or request to follow if private).
Blocking: They cannot follow you, see your profile, or interact with you at all. Use blocking for unwanted or harassing users.
Who should you let follow you?
That's up to you. Consider:
- Do you know them in real life?
- Are they part of your golf community?
- Are you comfortable sharing your rounds with them?
