Keep your cards and bank accounts current. Here's how to manage your payment methods.
Accessing payment methods
- Go to Profile → Wallet
- Tap Payment Methods
- See all your saved methods
Viewing your methods
You'll see:
- Cards: Credit and debit cards with last 4 digits
- Bank accounts: Connected accounts with last 4 digits
- Default indicator: Which method is used by default
Adding a new card
- Tap Add Card
- Enter card details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV
- Billing ZIP
- Complete any bank verification (3D Secure)
- Card is added
Adding a bank account
- Tap Connect Bank or Add Bank Account
- Search for your bank in Plaid
- Log into your bank securely
- Select the account to connect
- Account is linked
Setting a default method
Your default method is used for:
- Auto-reload
- Quick deposits
- Any transaction where you don't select a method
To change your default:
- Tap on the method you want as default
- Select Set as Default
- A checkmark or badge indicates the default
Updating an expired card
Cards can't be edited directly. When a card expires:
- Tap the expired card
- Select Remove
- Tap Add Card
- Enter your new card details (same card number, new expiration)
- Save the new card
Removing a payment method
To delete a card or bank account:
- Tap on the method
- Select Remove or Delete
- Confirm removal
Note: You can't remove your only payment method if you have:
- Auto-reload enabled
- Pending transactions
Add a new method first, then remove the old one.
Reconnecting a bank account
Bank connections occasionally need refreshing:
- You'll see a "Reconnect" notice
- Tap on the bank account
- Select Reconnect
- Log into your bank again through Plaid
- Connection is restored
This happens for security—banks require periodic re-authentication.
Security
- Full card numbers are never stored
- Bank credentials go through Plaid, not Andrew
- All data is encrypted
