How wager settlement works

After your round ends, here's how Andrew determines winners and moves the money.

The settlement process

1. Round completion

All players finish and enter their scores for every hole.

2. Score affirmation

Each player reviews and affirms the scorecard is correct.

3. Automatic calculation

Andrew calculates winners based on:

• The bet type and rules
• Final scores
• Handicap strokes (if applicable)

4. Fund transfer

Money moves from losers' wallets to winners' wallets.

5. Notification

Everyone receives a summary of the results.

Settlement by bet type

Match play

• Winner determined by holes won vs. lost
• Example: "3 and 2" means 3 holes up with 2 to play
• Full amount goes to winner

Stroke play

• Lowest total score wins
• Net scores used if handicaps applied
• Full amount goes to winner

Skins

• Each hole's skin value goes to that hole's winner
• Ties carry over (or split, depending on settings)
• Multiple winners possible

Nassau

• Three separate settlements: front 9, back 9, overall
• You might win some and lose some
• Net result is the total of all three

Ties

When players tie:

Match play ties

• Bet is typically pushed (no winner)
• Funds return to both players

Stroke play ties

• Pot is split evenly
• Each player gets their money back

Skins ties

• Carryover: Skin value rolls to next hole
• Or split: Tied players share that skin
• Based on wager settings

Handicap strokes in settlement

For net wagers:

• Strokes are applied per hole based on handicap
• Course handicap determines total strokes
• Stroke holes are allocated by hole difficulty (using stroke index)

Andrew handles all the math automatically.

When settlement happens

• Settlement triggers once all players affirm scores
• Usually within minutes of the last affirmation
• You'll see results in your wallet transaction history

Viewing settlement details

1. Go to Profile → Wallet → Transaction History
2. Find the wager settlement
3. Tap for full breakdown
4. See hole-by-hole results if applicable

If something looks wrong

Before disputing, check:

• Were all scores entered correctly?
• Was the bet type what you expected?
• Were handicaps applied correctly?

Settlement timing

Money moves instantly within Andrew wallets. If you want to withdraw winnings to your bank, that's a separate process (1-3 business days).
