Finished your round? Here's how to close it out and affirm your scores.
What does "affirm" mean?
Affirming your round means confirming that all scores are correct and final. Once affirmed:
- Scores are locked and can't be changed
- The round posts to your GHIN (if connected)
- Wagers are settled automatically
- Stats are added to your history
Think of it like signing your scorecard in an official tournament.
Completing your round
When you've finished playing:
- Make sure all holes have scores entered
- Tap End Round or Finish Round
- Review the scorecard summary
- Make any final corrections
Reviewing before affirming
Before you affirm, double-check:
- All scores entered — No missing holes
- Scores are accurate — Compare to paper scorecard if you kept one
- Correct players — Everyone in the round is accounted for
- Wagers look right — Check pending wager settlements
Once affirmed, you cannot undo or edit scores.

- After reviewing, tap Affirm or Affirm Scores
- Confirm when prompted
- Your round is now complete
What happens after affirming
GHIN posting
If your GHIN is connected and score posting is enabled:
- Your score is sent to GHIN automatically
- It will appear in your GHIN scoring record
- Your handicap index updates on the next revision
Wager settlement
All wagers associated with the round settle:
- Winners and losers are determined
- Funds transfer automatically in your wallet
- You'll see settlement notifications
Stats and history
The round is added to:
- Your round history
- Your scoring statistics
- Course-specific records
Affirming in multiplayer rounds
When playing with others:
- Each player affirms their own scores
- Wagers settle when all involved players have affirmed
- You can affirm before others finish if your round is complete
Tip: Coordinate with your group to affirm together, especially if wagers are involved.
Incomplete rounds
Didn't finish all 18 holes?
- You can still end and affirm a partial round
- Only completed holes are counted
- GHIN accepts 9-hole scores (posted as 9-hole rounds)
- Wagers may need to be voided or adjusted
What if I made a mistake?
Before affirming: Edit any score by tapping on it.
After affirming: Scores are locked. If there's a significant error:
- Contact support for assistance
- Provide details about the error
- We may be able to help in certain situations
Wagers cannot be reversed after settlement except through the dispute process.
Tips
Affirm the same day — Do it while the round is fresh in your memory.
Compare scorecards — If you kept a paper card, verify against it.
Check with your group — Make sure everyone agrees before affirming.
Don't rush — Take a moment to review; there's no undo after affirming.
