Understanding the main navigation

Andrew uses a simple tab bar at the bottom of the screen to help you move around the app. Here's what each tab does.

The four main tabs

Home

Your social feed—the first thing you see when you open Andrew.

Here you'll find:

• Posts from people you follow
• Round summaries and scorecards
• Event invites from friends
• Updates from your groups
• Live round activity

Tap the compose button to create a new post.

Play

Everything related to playing golf.

Features:

• Start Round: Begin a new round
• Active Rounds: See rounds in progress
• Join Round: Accept invites to play
• Quick access: Return to your current round

This is where you'll spend most of your time when actually golfing.

Community

Discover and connect with the golf world.

Sections:

• Groups: Your golf groups and group discovery
• Events: Upcoming events, tournaments, and golf trips
• Golfers: Find and follow other players
• Courses: Browse golf courses

Use the search bar to find specific groups, events, or players.

Profile

Your personal hub.

Contains:

• Your stats: Handicap, rounds played, scoring trends
• Round history: All your past rounds
• Wallet: Balance, payments, transactions
• Settings: App configuration
• Messages: Conversations with other players
• Followers/Following: Your social connections

Tap your handicap to see detailed GHIN information.

Navigation tips

Quick return

Tap the current tab again to return to the top of that section.

Notifications badge

A red badge on a tab indicates something needs attention:

• Home: New feed activity
• Play: Round invites pending
• Profile: Unread messages or notifications

The notification bell

In addition to tabs, look for the bell icon to see all your notifications in one place.

Back navigation

Use the back arrow (top left) or swipe from the left edge to go back within a section.

Start a round
Play tab → Start Round

Check your wallet
Profile tab → Wallet

Find a friend
Community tab → Golfers → Search

View past rounds
Profile tab → Round History

Change settings
Profile tab → Settings (gear icon)

Read messages
Profile tab → Messages

View a group
Community tab → Groups → Select group

Customization

Currently, tab positions and items cannot be customized. Andrew is designed so the most common actions are always easy to reach.
